If you want to try out for a "special speaking role" in the commercial described below, you will need to audition on Tuesday, September 2nd from 1-7 pm.

The address for the auditions is 580 Market Street, 4th Floor, in downtown San Francisco (Arianna's northern california HQ). It's Market and Montgomery, right near the Montgomery BART station. You must be at the auditions Tuesday to have a "special speaking role" in the commercial. (NOTE: You do NOT have to audition to be a part of the pep rally, or to talk with the documentary film-makers or the TV reporters who will also be there on Thursday. The auditions are only for those who want to help read the declaration for the TV ad.)

Arianna Huffington will be "marching up the steps of the state capitol" on Thursday (just before lunch-time) - and she wants you to join her. On the steps of the state's Capitol, Arianna will unveil her exciting "Declaration of the Independents."

This historic moment will be captured by a film crew ... by a TV ad crew ... AND by TV news crews. She needs you there to show your heartfelt enthusiasm and support. So please come - and PLEASE bring co-workers and loved ones, so that we can make the event MASSIVE!

The event will take place in Sacramento, California, on Thursday (September 4) at the State Capitol Building (on I Street, between 9th and 10th). Supporters will gather at 11:45 a.m. on the main steps to meet Arianna. The pep rally will begin just after noon.

It will DEFINITELY be worth taking an hour off work to be a part of this fun and powerful event. (And we will have lunch there for everyone who confirms!)

DOCUMENTARY & TV AD CREW WILL FILM THIS EVENT
A documentary film crew AND a television ad crew will be on hand (plus TV reporters). A top film-maker is creating a documentary about the campaign; she will be interviewing Arianna supporters on site, for inclusion in the film.

Also, footage of this event likely will be the basis for an upcoming TV ad that will help spread the word of her candidacy. So this is your chance to get on TV and in the movies - while showing your support for taking California in a new and better direction. So please come out! (BTW: If you definitely want to try-out for a "special speaking role" in the TV AD IN PARTICULAR, please see the special "PS" at the bottom of this email.)

A CRITICAL MOMENT IN THE CAMPAIGN
This lunch-time pep rally - Arianna's first public event as a gubernatorial candidate in Sacramento - is critical for her campaign. It will be coming off the heels of her first TV debate, which will be held in Walnut Creek. Given that Arianna has a degree in economics from Cambridge (where she was a CHAMPION debater), we expect her to shine in the first public match-up between the candidates on Wednesday evening.

Arianna's success in the Wednesday debate should create a big bounce for her in public opinion. We need to follow that up with a successful rally on the capitol steps. A strong turn-out will show the world that Arianna's candidacy is really starting to catch fire. Imagine the scene on the evening news: a powerful woman, ascending the steps of the capitol with hundreds of people behind her!

Again, we can take heart ... there is now a child in Iraq named, George Bush El-Hussein. The child was born on July 11th, 2003 in Iraq and the parents named their child after George Bush because George liberated their country from Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti. If you read the book, The Threatening Storm, you will see quite clearly the explanations for the doings of the Operation Iraqi Freedom, and other operations. The book is authored by : Kenneth Pollack, and is available in libraries near you. If not ... suggest it. You can read the 'truths; behind the decisions all along the way. Some truths are indeed more true than other truths, and more potent if mis used.

We celebrate the birth of this child with an American name ... we hope he is honored by others in Iraq ... a country long torn by deep and dire suppressions. The child's full name is : George Bush Abdul Kader Faris Abed El-Hussein.
